Joining Brian Foster and Courtney Reich (Georgia Conservancy) will be Cathy Sakas, a Georgia Conservancy Distinguished Conservationist and a former member of the Southeast U.S. Implementation Team for the Recovery of the Right Whale; and Kim Sawicki, an innovative researcher who will provide an update on the “ropeless” fishing gear, which holds promise to transform entanglement threats in Georgia.
